Client Profile:
MEWA, Association and AHCCS, an association of the Fashion Designers in Savi/Ouidah. All Fashion designers with their own studios and mostly some apprentices who work with them and get instructed.
Tasks:
- create cuts from paper
- modifications and develop new models
- create pattern from fabric
- sewing accessories
- design and color theory
- processing techniques
Results:
24 participants received further training, of which approx. 60% were illiterate and only Fon-speaking. About 2 of them were at the highest level, 16 learned an incredible amount in the 3 weeks and were very, very committed.
