The client is a small sized milk processing company focused on pasteurised milk pouches, Dairy Curd, Butter and Ice Cream. The company wants to expand in the region of the Kathmandu valley and in the south of Nepal. A new building has been bought in the Bhaktapur industrial area.
The expert has been given the undermentioned tasks:
1. Provide expertize and support in development of new products and improve quality of existing products ( ice cream, flavoured milk, yoghurt drinks).
2. Provide guidance to management on new technology and cost- effectiveness.
Within the three weeks of his assignment, Mr. Holst established and improved recipes and manufacturing instructions of ice cream and frozen food deserts. The expert recommended to establish documented recipes and instructions to all ice cream products, introduce Good Manufacturing Practices and train staff on production lines.
