Client Profile:
The client is developing the following project: Nepal Vocational Qualifications System- NVQS in collaboration with TVET-Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
The project is financed by the Swiss Government.
Tasks:
The expert has been given the following tasks:
– Overvew of the Swiss Vocational Qualifications System
– Facilitate competency standard development process on 2 selected professions
– Prepare the organizing team for skills competition
– Model a Skill Competition Process & Assessment Standards
Results:
During the first 2 weeks the expert was able to carry out an overview of the Swiss Vocational Qualifications System and developing standards for the profession cook.
During the last week the focus was oriented to the Skill Competition Process.
