Client Profile:
The college was established in the year 2016 and it offers a variety of vocational courses to the emerging students in the field of hospitality management. At present, 12 employees (8 full-time/4 part-time) are engaged. It aims to meet both the national and international standards in this field. The college aims to help students learn and earn and make them self-reliant. It produces quality human resources to meet the high standards demanded of skilled manpower in the global market.
Tasks:
21-day culinary workshop. The focus was placed on elementary Italian and continental cuisine. Goal: To develop basic cocking skills and then independently prepare and present 4-course menus from scratch. Only fresh or handmade products are used.
Results:
Taking into account the available food and infrastructure on site, the best possible outcome was achieved. The students were instructed in the techniques of pizza/pasta making. Also, from a selection of 50 recipes, in the preparation of appetizers, soups, salads, main courses and grilled dishes as well as desserts and tarts. In the end, the students were able to create entire 4-course menus from what they had learned and present them to numerous guests at a 1-week event.
