Client Profile:
The client is an unique financial institution in Nepal that supports low income households by providing microcredit services together with knowledge, skill and information required to start of scale up micro and small business through enterprise development services.
Tasks:
Advise in the sectors: agro-production, agro-forestry, quality production of agriculture and market linkage of agro-products.Facilitate/guide Enterprise Development Officers (EDOs) on different agro-production techniques, discussions around barriers, challenges and preparing strategies to scale up the enterprise development service program activities.
Results:
I have had the opportunity to observe and evaluate 17 different workshops and a whole series of recommendations have emerged. There will also be a recommendation for more activities and the planting of climate-resistant fruit and nut trees for members. The management is very motivated to implement these recommendations and hope to continue to share the knowledge at the field level and develop a longer relationship with SEC.
