Client Profile:
The High School is situated in the north east part of the capital Kathmandu and offers education for around 400 children/students from 2 – 17 years (Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary – 1st-10th grade). It also offers about 45 boarding school places and employs around 30 teaching and 15 additional staff members.
Tasks:
- Improve the individual teaching methods of all the teachers through individual counselling and various workshops
- Provide advice and support to the leading members of staff (Principal, Director, Vice-Principal, School Coordinators)
Results:
Workshops, counselling and consultation took place. The positive effects will be seen in a mid- or longer term review of the teaching methods, the improvement of administration and organisation. The planting of greens on the premises was also implemented.
