Client Profile:
The client is a private Secondary School on the outskirts of Kathmandu, with about 300 students and 30 teachers. The principal is one of the investors in the school. Many teachers are very young and unlikely to stay at Darshana for an extended period, as they plan to continue their studies or go abroad.
Tasks:
- Many class visits were arranged, which included feedback and encouraging talks afterwards.
- Workshops were conducted with pre-primary and maths teachers.
- Various meetings were held with the principal, school management and school board.
Results:
The principal has promised to implement many of our suggestions, some of which teachers are already attempting to put into practice. He will also inform us about any changes they might experience through this implementation.
