Client Profile:
The client is a hotel management company operating several hotels and mountain lodges in the key tourism areas of Nepal: Everest, Ananpurna, Mostang and Chitwan areas. The client offers accommodation in the premium class category (Comfort-Trekking and Tours) and also began to offer Hotel Management Services to third parties and sister companies.
Tasks:
The client was supported by weekly Zoom meetings since already two years. First on-site visit took place in April 2023.
This year’s assignment was the logical continuation of support in the following areas: Annual financial planning & budgeting, mananagement information process, annual salary review, adaptation of organization structure and performance reviews. Jointly with an external expert, a Leadership Development Program has been designed and piloted – rollout of program during FY 2024/25.
Results:
Coaching sessions for the CEO and individual members of management took place. Marketing plans, critical reviews and recommendations were made.
Recommendations were made for further adaptation of the company structure. The salary structure wasreviewed and recommendations made for FY 2024/25. Uniform SSF (Social Security Fund) plan was recommended and implemented for all legal entities. The Leadership Development Program for FY 2024/25 was launched.
