The client is one of the leading tour operators in Nepal, offering trekking tours and expeditions in Nepal, Buthan and Tibet. Key target markets: France, Spain, UK and Germany. The company is privately owned and is part of a larger group of companies.
Tasks:
Optimizing management processes: organization, planning, and people management, Finance, HR, IT. Coaching and training of management team.
During Nepal’s lockdown (Covid) the project focus shifted towards company re-sizing, integration of sister companies and integration of the new organization into a group of companies focussing on hospitality and travel. New market positioning (post-Covid) and definition of new target markets in Europe, India and Domestic.
Results:
Clear definition of individual management responsibilites (job descriptions). Definition and implementation of key processes: annual planning (sales, marketing), financial planning, business model, organization structure etc.
Realization of synergies through integration of company into a group of companies and subsequent joint use of platform services (IT, Finance, HR).
