Client Profile:
The client is a culinary and hospitality training school that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare students for excellence in the hospitality industry. There are 3 higher level courses (ranging from 12 to 21 months) and 5 basic level courses (ranging from 2 to 8 weeks) on offer. The school is validated and approved by the SQA (Scottish Qualification Authority), Scotland.
Tasks:
- Evaluate the existing system of assessment
- Improvement of the assessment of students
- Training of teachers in order to improve the quality of teaching
- Provide mentoring
Results:
With a much-improved kitchen and bakery planned, the new infrastructure, equipment, food safety and hygiene will not only meet the required standards, but will be a model for other schools to follow.
