Client Profile:
The client is an architectural office, led by a young entrepreneur. She has mostly secured clients, who live outside Kosovo and who visit in the summer. The clients have a desire to live comfortably and look for full service architects (all works from the project idea to the overseeing the build). Given that clients like that come to Kosovo mostly in summer (for holiday), there is lots of work in that period of the year and less in others.
Tasks:
Growth strategy – that means employees, structured processes in the office, a quality-management system and a wider variety of clients – in other words: other types of services. Those things were discussed and tailored to the needs of the clients who will be found by raising benchmarks, designing processes, networking, etc.).
Results:
1) A vision, then 2) a mission (mission-statements), 3) services (need for structured processes and a business plan based on market considerations) 4) foundations (besides manpower, e.g. designing process of plans and planning, quality-, change-, risk-management, benchmarks and more). Alongside the whole assignment, possibilities of new services were discussed (e.g. hidden-values, new planning methods, sustainability, services for “poor-clients“ (low-cost housing, condominiums), virtual offices, etc. – portals for awards, competitions, public procurements in surrounding countries and across Europe).
