Hospitality Training at Tourism&Hotel Management School in Nepal

Our objective is to train the staff related with hospitality so that our students from marginalized and deprived community get a proper guidance and in future they are able to get employment or to be entrepreneur of SME’s by themselves. Swisscontact’s SEC experts support is further needed to train staffs/instructors for the sustainable development of ASTHM.

Asian School of tourism & hotel management (ASTHM) is a known and striving hotel institute in Butwal, Rupendahi, State 5, in Nepal, which has been providing different hotel and tourism related training to the deprived and needy poor students of various ethnic groups and in collaboration with the Nepali government and different NGOs in Nepal. This institute has been also offering Diploma in Hospitality Management since the last 5 years to fulfill the demand of skillful manpower in the hospitality industry within the country as well as on the global market. It is affiliated to the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), a local governing body.
ASTHM is asking for a 4th SEC assignment with Swisssontact for the following reasons:

Swisscontact’s SEC experts support is further needed to train staffs/instructors for the sustainable development of ASTHM.
ASTHM can contribute CHF 300 to the assignment and covers all local costs for the expert during the assignment such as food, accommodation and local transportation.
