Personnel changes

The SEC Strategy 2028 has resulted in personnel changes at the SEC. Nicole Luis, who played a key role in coordinating numerous SEC assignments, particularly in Nepal and Benin, left Swisscontact at the end of February after more than 20 years. We would like to thank Nicole for her many years of work at SEC. During this time, she has witnessed many changes, coordinated hundreds of assignments and supervised experts. We wish her all the best for this new chapter in her life.

We warmly welcome Katherine Klemenz, our new ‘Lead Assignments SEC’! She has been on board since mid-February and brings with her extensive experience in international development and working with indigenous communities. As a Swiss expat who grew up in Venezuela, she founded the non-profit organisation Mama Tierra and supported indigenous women in Venezuela and Colombia. Her expertise in start-ups, volunteering management and public relations is a great asset for us. Katherine has degrees in Social Sciences and Communication & Business.

We wish Katherine a successful start and look forward to working with her!

Jane Achermann (Head of Programme SEC), Mira Fricker (Lead Monitoring and Results Measurements SEC) and Esther Gasser (Lead Experts and Communications SEC) will remain in the team with some new tasks and functions.
