Client Profile:
The client is an association of fruit farmers. The municipality of Mizque owns a winery with equipment, but it is not used anymore. The municipality and the client would like to reinstall the winery and boost viticulture in order to increase the added value for fruit farmers.
Tasks:
The expert has been given the following tasks:
- Evaluating the existing production equipment
- Elaborating a proposal for the re-implementation and/or other options for the equipment
- Advising the municipality on the development of viticulture.
Results:
After a first assessment of the winery, Mr. Chanton was able to write a report about the winery. Furthermore, he made suggestions on how to produce wine and how to improve local products such as Guarapo.
The client is very motivated to implement the suggestions of Mr. Chanton and would be very glad to welcome Mr. Chanton again for a follow-up assignment.
