Client Profile:
Located in the village of Chapali, 10 km north of Kathmandu, the client welcomes more than 270 children in the day school and 50 girls in the boarding school, employing 26 teachers and 10 other staff members.
In response to a state education lacking monetary resources as well as a discriminatory private education, the school’s objective is to offer a quality education at low cost for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, promoting equal chances for all. The school’s pedagogy is founded on open-mindedness, social justice, human rights as well as environmental conservation.

Developing a 5-year strategic plan
Results:
Throughout a dozen video conferences a SWOT-analysis and a revision of the vision and mission has been elborated. The 5-year-strategy plan was based on this. The plan included 16 strategic fields,which include the financial and real estate situation, the pedagogical quality of teaching, the set up of new vocational trainings (particulary in the field of ICT), improvement of infrastructure and equipment as well as a concept of corporate communication.
Some high-priority actions have been put in a project management process and will be further elaborated in informal contacts between school management and expert.
