Client Profile:
An enterprise/design office located in Kathmandu/ Lalitpur (Nepal), promoting tourism projects typically including aerial ropeway elements.
Tasks:
Advice regarding the areas of the definition of the air route, the selection of the sites for and the layout of the heliports, and safety aspects of the system.
Results:
Topics included applicable aviation standards and regulations, aircraft flight and operations, route and airport site selection, airport operations and design, passenger and transportation terminal operations and design, air traffic management and air traffic control, and high altitude “adaptive”/”sparse” architecture. A follow-up SEC project has been planned.
