Client Profile:
The client is the governmental organization attached to the Ministry of Tourism, which has the task of building the comprehensive training programs in tourism. 20 people work in these offices and are mainly active in the selection of professional experts.
All documents refer to the handbook of ASEAN (Association of SOUTHEAST ASIA NATIONS) in the hotel and tourism. The task remains very challenging, but Swisscontact’s involvement in these projects in Cambodia will enable the development of quality and organized training.
Tasks:
Contribute to the recognition of prior learning assessment of the existing master trainers and master assessors in accordance with ASEAN qualification package by conducting a pilot project. From findings of the pilot project, revaluate the assessment mechanisms of the National and ASEAN professional, which is developed by the client. Provide technical capacity building of the client’s staff on recognition of prior learning and food and beverage skills. Assist in the promotion of recognition of prior learning to the relevant stakeholders.
Results:
Prepare and transmit numerous documents and training programs for the hotel industry (FB, HK, KI, FO). Commitment and training programs for experts and master assessors. Participated in several assessments of assessors and selections of exeprts, trainers and master trainers.(pilot project). Conduct basic course programs, work sheets, referral documents, test forms and exams. Preparation of the training system, situation analysis with advice and idea to NCTP staff.
The staff have been trained in the F & B skills to train the interested parties of the private sector.
