Client Profile:
The client is an enterprise active in sales and repairs of agricultural machinery. Besides repairs of imported spare parts, the client specialized in the manufacturing of spare parts. In this area, the client plans to make further progress.
Tasks:
The tasks of the expert were to improve the production, especially the heat treatment of steel (hardening).
Other tasks were added during the assignment after consultation with the factory manager.
Results:
Through the construction of an oven and the transmission of knowledge regarding heat treatment, the problem could be solved partially.
Additional devices, such as thermometer and thermostat for high temperatures, will be sent afterwards from Switzerland as part of a private cooperation of the expert with the client. A long-term cooperation is intended.
Further improvements of work processes have been initiated at the factory manager’s option.
