Client Profile:
The company belongs mainly to a Cambodian owned industry group and set up by end 2017 its first cement factory in Cambodia. The minority shareholder is an important Thai Cement group contributing the knowhow how to produce cement.
This 5,000 ton per day cement plant contains more than 1’000 machines, is highly automated and is controlled from a central control room.
Tasks:
It’s the declared intention of the company’s management to deploy and get instructed the Cambodian staff within 3 years, in a manner that they will be able to run this plant autonomous without foreign help. In this context SEC was asked to contribute to the instruction of the operators in the central control room.
Results:
Establishing a so called Standard Operating Procedure. This document describes how to start-up and to stop the process and how to procede in case of any failure in the process. Instruction of certain operators. Exchange of ideas with the management how to develop local man power in and around the central control room.
