Client Profile:
SKILLS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (Swisscontact), Cambodia, implements competency based skills development courses. The aim is to develop a consistent nationwide system of skills development. Problems encountered by SDP are the quality of curricula and learning materials and inconsistency of the courses. Courses in place do not focus enough on practice.
Tasks:
Assess if the material in place is aligned with the ASEAN and Cambodian Competency Skills and give advice on the overall improvement of learning materials and training methods.
Results:
Although the programmes were not fully developed yet and the coaches were not trained and active yet, the expert could give advice on how to increase the quality of coaching and could assess if the training material developed until now was in line with the Cambodian Competency Skills.
