The Bar and Grill is situated in Pokhara and was newly opened. 20 employees are working there, 30% are women. The main target groups are foreign tourists.

Improve bar efficiency: Assess current operating procedure, improve quality of drink/service via training, assess local markets to develop and train new product development, train in making popular and trendy cocktails and healthy juices/smoothies, develop bar and juice menu.
The expert created a new menu as well as one for mixed drinks and smoothies. She trained the staff how to mix seasonal smoothies and drinks. She could convince the owner to give all employees of his 3 restaurants one day per week off. Further the expert supported him in terms of different furniture, gave him options how to enlarge the kitchen for better working conditions.
