Client Profile:
The client is a first-line rural hospital that wishes to replace its ICT system with a modern hospital information management system. The hospital requested support and advice on data migration and IT security. Furthermore, the faculty of its associated College of Nursing needed training.
Tasks:
- assist with migration and coding of activities/billing
- develop an IT security plan
- train nursing staff on research, statistics, data analysis and reporting
- advise on eLearning
Results:
- move forwards with implementation of the new HIMS
- propose and get a new IT security plan accepted
- organize several workshops for the nursing faculty
- propose several options for eLearning for nursing students
