Client Profile:
A new hotel, founded in 2019, and located in the centre of Kathmandu. It has a staff of 23. Four months after the hotel’s opening, the pandemic hit and restrictions were introduced in Nepal and in many other countries, leading to a collapse of demand from international tourists.
Tasks:
To provide advice on structuring room rates, on revenue management, and on the creation of new service packages to attract domestic clients.
Results:
Development of the following policies and strategies: pre-opening processes, business planning, pricing policy strategy, market segmentation, room category determination, competitior analysis, revenue management strategies, hotel revenue planning, F&B revenue planning, detailed overall revenue planning, MHR guides, job descriptions etc.
