Client Profile:
An established, quality bakery that has opened a new sales point with a coffee shop, high quality chocolates and a small assortment of confectionary. The enterprise is family-owned, managed by father and daughter.
Tasks:
- Establish an assortment of 20+ chocolates and some baked goods.
- Furnish the new sales point for chocolate production.
- Training of staff members who produce chocolate independent from the bakery, which is in a different location.
Results:
When I arrived in Kathmandu, the chocolate shop was still under construction. During the first four days we discussed the various chocolate products, and visited suppliers for tools and chocolate, before beginning training and production. We made 25 different chocolates in two weeks and the shop was officially opened after I had returned to Switzerland.
