Client Profile:
The client operates in the agribusiness sector, supplying locally grown, high-quality fresh vegetables and fruits to hotels and restaurants, as well as exporting fresh produce to the Gulf States. To meet export certification requirements, they needed to relocate to a more suitable site that offers better potential for future expansion. Therefore, there was a need to support the client in identifying and securing a more appropriate location for their long-term development.
Tasks:
- Review the actual operation and process since last visit
- Evaluate and analyse possible new sites for the future operation
- Conduct a study with differerent scenarios to identify the best new site
- Identify possible required installations and equipments
- Discuss and propose the best options for the new site and setup with expansion possibilities
Results:
- Visited two new sites with the owner and selected one for evaluation
- Discussed several layout options and posibilities
- Prepared and documented four different layout scenarios
- Listed possible equipment and installations for the new site
- Prepared process flow diagram for production of local fermented food
- Visited vegetable suppliers and clients, to understand their needs for the planning of the new site
