Client Profile:
The client is a company with expertise in recycled plastics from the agricultural market. They know the products, the clients, and they have some experience in recycling of the materials.
Tasks:
The task has been to examine the possibilities to improve the recycling of the collected material, together with the client, and to evaluate the clients plans in this respect. There are different ways to add value to recycled plastics: reuse clean material, burn the material for energy recuperation and electricity production, or production of diesel oil from mixed recycled plastics. On all these subjects we discussed and have made plans for the future. The assignment was executed by means of data and information exchange, as well as by video conferences, i.e. remote consulting.
Results:
The result is a plan to follow up on the progress, and to focus on the transformation of mixed plastics to diesel oil. This oils can be sold directly to the market or used to generate electricity.
