Client Profile:
Pukllasunchis is a school founded by the Swiss Christine Appenzeller more than 30 years ago in Cusco, Peru. Since 2011, the joinery “Pukllay” has been integrated into this school. This joinery was financed by the Max Hauri Foundation.
Tasks:
The Max Hauri Foundation also financed the entire machine park. The machines come from Switzerland and are quite different from those of Peru in some ways (with protective devices and a lot of accessories and aids). Therefore it is necessary to train the local employees on these machines. Moreover, it is hardly possible to learn a profession like a carpenter from scratch in Peru.
The task was therefore also to convey constructions, systems, workflows, which the machines allow.
Results:
The employees learned to work safely, precisely and efficiently on the machines.
Constructions and workflows can already be included in the planning of the products.
