Client Profile:
The client is an engineering office and works especially in ropeway and cablecar development. The company is keen on learning more about ropeway technology and is interrested to work together with Swiss ropeway companies.
Tasks:
The expert has given the following tasks:
– Support for installation of the new Kalinchowk Cablecar near Charikot.
– Control of civil works, towers, anchoring and tension of ropes and assembling of the mechanical parts which were delivered from Switzerland.
Results:
It is recommended by Martin Liesch to make a final inspection of the ropeway after finished work in accordance with Swiss standards. The management is very motivated to implement these inspections and would be glad to welcome Martin Liesch again for a follow-up assignment.
