Client Profile:
Kids Happy home is a school for children from 2 to 9 years of age. Classes are play groups, 2 nursery groups, lower kindergarten, upper Kindergarten and classes 1, 2, 3. There are about 20 children in each class, a total of 140 children.
Tasks:
- To make the teachers acquainted with the Swiss education system
- Give technical support & guidelines to upgrade the quality standard which would lead to improvement of the teaching methods
- Provide suggestions and advice to the management accordingly
Results:
- After the first workshop on the theory of the new paradigm (Jesper Juul) we began to work practically.
- The lessons of the teachers started to be more structured (working in groups, teaching in shorter units, using different types of little breaks: concentration, movement, art, games, handicrafts).
