Client Profile:
The client, the manufacturer of ‘Divine Wines’, is growing their own grapes around Kathmandu.
The vines grow fine despite some challanging climatic conditions due to the monsoon weather. The grapes are processed at their own wine cellar where they produce a red and white wine.
The company has unveiled its new offering into the Nepali wine market under the brand name ‘Divine Wines Premium’.
Tasks:
- Support the client in the management of the vineyard and the process of vinification, including the consideratin of vine plants and soil quality
- Recommend improvements in the vinification process
Results:
Along with the team, we achieved the improvement of the pruning steps, as well as the methods for the application of products in the vineyard. The soil was sampled, results discussed and the fertilization adapted. Through a step-by-step approach, we discussed the winemaking process and gave recommendadtions in regards to the control of temperature and the use of specific tanks.
