A fully designed and operational ropeway system tailored for the unique condition of Nepal`s mountainous regions, with a reliable manufacturing partner for the fabrication of the designed parts.
Results:
Small cable cars, such as those used in Switzerland for agricultural settlements in the mountains, are proposed as a possible solution.
Because the production costs of Swiss cable car manufacturers are too high for Nepalese conditions, it should be investigated which parts can be produced by Nepalese manufacturers. In order to reduce costs, it is also possible to convert second-hand cable cars from Europe.
