Client Profile:
The client is the zoological garden of Loja. The subject was the further development, modernization and extension in the following years.
Tasks:
The expert discussed with the staff on further development of the zoological garden. In this context there are advices for cooperation with zoological associations, design of zoological gardens and especially of attractive enclosures of animals.
Results:
In discussion with the staff but also with architects of the administration of the city the following projects were developed:
- entrance to the zoological garden
- places to park for cars, busses and bicycles
- a building for administration and with social rooms for the employees
- a station for accommodation of conciscated animals
- a building for storage and preparation of food for the animals in the zoological garden
- projects of enclosures for flamingos, south american birds, ostriches, penguins
- projects for education and entertainment for visitors and pupils
