Introducing our SEC coordinators and their countries

Part 1 – Neeraj Singhal, NEPAL

Neeraj Singhal is our longest-serving coordinator. The former Deputy Project Manager started his involvement with the SEC program in 2003 together with a project management position for Swisscontact Nepal. Since then, a lot has changed, and Neeraj is working full time to identify and support potential SEC clients. His favourite aspect of the SEC program is that it brings Swiss-ness to Nepal and that it transfers innovation and technology to SMEs in Nepal. He loves  working in this intercultural environment and with the diverse group of people within Nepal, his fellow SEC coordinators, the SEC experts, and his SEC colleagues at Zurich HO. Together with Nicole Luis, he has organised more than 650 assignments to date.

“Nepali hospitality – A diverse multicultural country with 126 ethnic groups and 123 local languages. It has SMEs with young entrepreneurs, who are eager to learn from Swisscontact SEC Experts.”, says Neeraj about the uniqueness of Nepal.
