The client is a small/medium sized company. It develops and realizes projects in residential construction, commercial centers and office buildings. The company acts mostly as a general contractor and subcontracts a big part of the activities, preferably in the Phnom Penh area. Staff (engineers, architects and site managers) are mostly young and have limited experience.
– In-depth analyses of existing project management know-how
– Development of a manual of standard procedures in project management and its implementation
– Advising and training of engineers, architects and site managers in project management
The first week of the assignment a deep analyses was necessary to get a clear view of existing procedures in project management. The creation of a manual, adapted to the needs of the company, and its implementation to the staff could successfully be made to the benefit of running projects.
The management is very motivated to implement procedures in further projects, after having translated the specific documents in Khmer language. The management is interested in a follow-up assignment to deepen the implementation.
