Client Profile:
Private School, Pre-primary – 11th degree, 1600 students, age group from about 3 to 19 years, quality education for children with intention of expansion in the future.
Tasks:
Providing training for teachers in teaching methods, classroom management issues, lesson planning through workshops, observations of current teaching methods by school teachers and guidance at group/individual level for improvement in their teaching methods and quality of teaching.
Provide technical support in testing and evaluation issues.
Results:
Specially the teachers of higher secondary classes were eager to learn and to integrate different methods. Expert tried to raise awareness of what makes a good teacher, learning pyramide, learning by solving problems.
In addition the expert could convince the principal to invest in some beamers for visualizing.
The expert specially worked with representatives of the sections. They will continue the process by using the working papers and check-lists.
