The client is an innovative printing company active in commercial printing, book printing and packaging markets. With 70 employees, solutions for the local and international market are produced from prepress to the finished print product.
Tasks:
- Review progress of changes initiated a year ago
- Determine reasons of why progress was lagging in certain areas, and how to correct the shortcomings
- Identify new / additional topics for sustainable improvements
Results:
Due to the fluctuation of important key people, initiated changes a year ago did not fully materialize. Hence, new ways to improve production organization, quality control and market development without any large financial investments were examined. Small but steady steps of initiated changes quickly showed some promising results. Thanks to a business contact in Germany, some possibilities for export will bring needed cashflow allowing to continue the progress in overall business and production development.
